Coffee, Snow and Everything Else by US-based software engineer Rameez Ahamed Mohammed reaches #47 in Multicultural & Interracial Romance

INDORE, Madhya Pradesh, 28 October 2026 — Coffee, Snow and Everything Else, a contemporary novel by Rameez Ahamed Mohammed, has reached #47 on Amazon’s bestseller list in Multicultural & Interracial Romance one week after its release. The book was published on 20 October 2026 by Verzove Publishers, an independent publishing house in Indore led by 21-year-old founder Vandana Vishwakarma.

The novel follows Arjun, a young man from Mumbai who moves to Milwaukee to study, and Mithuna, a doctor in Chicago whose hospital shifts never end on time. Ninety miles apart, they build a relationship through late-night calls, cold coffee, midnight biryani and a family of very loud cousins. They then have to face fears that many Indians abroad know well: uncertain job markets, visa worries, and the question of whether love can survive when the future keeps changing.

Beneath the romance, the book is about the experience of thousands of Indian students and professionals who build lives far from home: homesickness, found family, and the quiet, everyday choice to stay.

“When I started writing this story, I only wanted to tell a simple story about two people and the life that slowly happens around them,” said Rameez Ahamed Mohammed. “But somewhere along the way, it became about much more than falling in love. It became about friendship, family, growing up, making mistakes, finding home in people, and learning what it really means to choose someone.”

Vandana Vishwakarma, the 21-year-old founder of Verzove Publishers, said: “From the first draft, this story had heart. Seeing it on Amazon’s bestseller list within a week, next to books from publishers many times our size, shows that an honest story can find readers anywhere. We’re proud to have brought Rameez’s book into the world.”

The novel is set across Chicago and Milwaukee. The author credits both cities in his acknowledgments for “the streets, the coffee shops, the lake, the long drives, the winter nights, and all that snow.”
